Maybe food costs more in Australia. I looked but couldn't find the details of the study. While looking around, I read that the average food cost for a family of 4 in Australia is $250 week. I read something similar recently at
but the differences were in miles/gas/energy cost.

[You raise a good point and I wish I had more time to research it. However, the percentages are probably around the same. I still feel the study was slanted towards a lot of processed food (hence, more expensive) and wish there were more details. In any case, thanks much for your feedback! Best regards, Mark]
