Which direction is this step? Forwards? Backwards? Sideways? I applaud Oliver's effort to get kids more actively engaged in their food, but I agree wholeheartedly with your criticism of the nutrition. To merely replace processed food food with homemade food that is nutritionally the same won't solve anything. I know, because I fell into into this gourmet, foodie trap for years. I thought that as long as I made it from scratch it was good. But a nutritional analysis would have shown it no better than fast food, just better tasting.
