A photo collage of the 3 "Heart Healthy Pizzas" I made for the Vegan Potluck Picnic yesterday. Over 70 people scheduled to show. I showed up 2/3 of the way through, and judging from what was left, probably more than that showed up. Lots of incredible food, great people, and a fine time was had by all. Made these pies before the event, and that too, was an interesting learning experience in logistics! Two of the pies are pretty much from my cookbook, one (circular) was an experiment I'll post the recipe for sometime soon: 8 chopped raw veggies sprinkled with balsamic vinegar and roasted sesame seeds on top of a millet/flaxseed-based "cheese-like" sauce (in book) on a Trader Joe's basil-flecked pizza dough-sourced crust. Woof.
